Family Day at McColl Center is for toddlers, teens, and everyone in between! We invite the whole family to join us for a day of creative fun, with activities inspired by our upcoming Creativity Camps! Get a sneak peak of what students will be exploring during Creativity Camp with the following activities:
- Abstract Sculpture – Use recycled materials to create a 3D abstract sculpture that can be deconstructed and rebuilt over and over again!
- Mixed Media Collage – Explore the art of mixed media collage by layering stamps, paint, and paper to create a one-of-a-kind work!
- Relief Printmaking – Create your own design on a styrofoam plate, then roll on some ink and watch your masterpiece come to life as a print you can take home!
- Ceramics - Using a special air-dry clay, we will explore the pinch pot technique to build vessels, continuing a tradition that has existed since around 10,000 BCE!
This free event is open to all ages—drop in, get creative, and discover the exciting projects waiting for you at Creativity Camp
