RESOLVE
Every day we are faced with new challenges and opportunities. Our authentic selves show up in a myriad of ways. Finding a solution, deciding on a firm course of action, or simply changing our perspective all help us to see things more clearly.
Resolve features work created by the Studios at McColl Center artists that explores these concepts. Through both contemporary techniques and traditional craft, artists express different aspects of themselves and the methods they use to handle conflict. Resolution and peace are found through self-examination, living with discomfort, taking chances, or finding community in nature, relationships, and society as a whole. Through abstract concepts to modern symbolism, they illustrate a journey from introspection to action and how the chosen action affects the world around us. You are invited to look within, be impactful, and find a clearer vision of your own future.
Participating artists: Emily Berger, Tamara Conrad, Chris Holston, Doris Kapner, Sofi Lavergne, Jennifer Minnis, Emily Nunez, Bryant Portwood, Lauren Puckett, Sam Rosado, Nill Smith, and Felicia Van Bork.
